abstract |
A method for recovering carbon dioxide contained in combustion exhaust gas with high efficiency is provided. SOLUTION: Absorption towers and stripping towers used in a process for removing carbon dioxide (hereinafter referred to as CO2) contained in combustion exhaust gas are filled with a plurality of right-handed or left-handed spirals in a fluid passage pipe. Use of a high-performance static fluid mixer with internal blades is particularly effective in terms of energy saving, downsizing of equipment, and reduction of maintenance costs. This high-performance packing has an excellent feature that it is self-cleaning, maintenance free, low pressure loss and downsizing. In addition, by downsizing the tower, it is possible to make the CO2 absorption tower and the CO2 diffusion tower one and make it compact. |
