titleOfInvention | Method for producing sulfur-containing aromatic polymer |
abstract | The present invention provides a method capable of producing a sulfur-containing aromatic polymer in a high yield even under relatively mild reaction conditions. In a mixed solvent of water and an organic solvent, Step 1 is obtained by reacting bis (4-mercaptophenyl) sulfone in the presence of an alkali metal to obtain an alkali metal salt of the bis (4-mercaptophenyl) sulfone. And a step 2 of reacting the alkali metal salt of (4-mercaptophenyl) sulfone obtained in the step 1 with a dihalogenated biaryl represented by the following formula (2): . In formula (2), Ar represents a divalent group having at least one aromatic ring or a divalent group having a heteroaromatic ring containing at least one heteroatom, and Y represents a halogen atom.
