abstract |
The present invention provides a technique for effectively predicting the effectiveness of vaccine therapy for hay fever such as Japanese cedar pollinosis caused by pollen allergens. A method for predicting the effectiveness of vaccine therapy for hay fever with pollen allergens, comprising: (1) Change in the expression of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of CCL2, IGHA1, and NCF1 in mononuclear cells isolated from the subject by application of vaccine therapy with pollen allergen to the subject And (2) correlating the change in expression measured in (1) with the effectiveness of vaccine therapy against hay fever with pollen allergens.
