abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticorrosion method capable of managing the amount of polarization within a range suitable for anticorrosion without using a reference electrode when performing anticorrosion. When an electric current is supplied from an anode material to a steel material to perform the anticorrosion of the steel material, a polarization amount calculated by subtracting the steel material potential E c-io from the natural potential E c-corr of the steel material is obtained. In an anticorrosion method for supplying a current to a steel material so as to be within a predetermined range, the natural potential E c-corr of the steel material and the instant-off potential E c-io of the steel material are determined using the polarization curve of the anode material. The electric current is supplied by setting a potential difference V ac-io between the anode material and the steel material that is measured immediately after the supply current is cut off so that the amount of polarization is within a predetermined range.
