titleOfInvention Sealed rolling bearing
abstract Provided is a sealed rolling bearing in which seal wear and torque increase are unlikely to occur over a long period of time. A seal 5 of a deep groove ball bearing includes a lip portion 12a having a slidable contact surface 12b in sliding contact with an outer peripheral surface of an inner ring 1. Dimples are formed on the slidable contact surface 12b of the lip portion 12a, and the dimples are formed with fine rectangular concave portions 23 and lattice-shaped convex portions 22 having periodic regularity. This dimple is formed by plasma irradiation. Further, a carbon coating 13 is formed on the sliding surface 12b of the lip portion 12a to cover the dimples. [Selection] Figure 2
