titleOfInvention Medical device
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a medical device capable of easily and highly accurately positioning an electrode that can protrude from a catheter with respect to a living tissue and improving safety. A medical device in which a sandwiching member 20 that is an electrode for applying electrical energy to a living tissue M is disposed on a catheter 1 so as to be capable of moving forward and backward. The catheter 1 is independent of the sandwiching member 20. The positioning assisting portion 40 is provided with a flat holding surface 42 that can move forward and backward with respect to the clamping member 20 and can clamp the living tissue M therebetween.
