abstract [PROBLEMS] To suppress self-discharge and increase in resistance of a non-aqueous electrolyte battery using a negative electrode active material having a noble potential of 1.0 V (vs Li / Li + ) or more, and the non-aqueous electrolyte battery. A battery pack provided with a battery pack is provided. According to an embodiment, a non-aqueous electrolyte battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material having a lithium storage / release potential of no less than 1.0 V (vs Li / Li + ). The non-aqueous electrolyte includes a first compound having a functional group represented by the chemical formula (I) and a second compound having an isothiocyanato group. Here, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, or an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms.
