abstract The present invention provides a method for producing a high-quality polarizing plastic lens for spectacles that ensures flexibility in assembling a mold and does not depend on the molding accuracy of a polarizing film. A method for manufacturing a polarizing plastic lens for spectacles is provided so that a plastic member 20 is raised on at least one of a peripheral portion of an inner surface of a first lens mold 16 and a peripheral portion of a polarizing film 14. And a state in which the member 20 is brought into contact with the inner surface of the first lens mold 16 and the polarizing film 14 so that a predetermined distance is provided between the inner surface of the first lens mold 16 and the polarizing film 14.
