abstract | A main object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a pattern alignment film, which is capable of easily and mass-producing a high-quality pattern retardation film. The present invention relates to a pattern alignment layer original plate having a concave and convex portion formed in a strip shape in which minute line-shaped uneven structures are randomly formed in a substantially constant direction on the surface, and an alignment layer forming plate. A forming step of bringing the alignment layer forming layer made of the resin composition into contact and then pressurizing and forming the shape of the pattern alignment layer original plate surface on the alignment layer forming layer; and the forming step A method for producing a pattern alignment film for three-dimensional display, comprising: a curing step for curing the alignment layer forming layer; and a peeling step for peeling the alignment layer forming layer from the pattern alignment layer master.
