Kind Code: A1 The present invention relates to a Sendai virus vector useful for producing an influenza vaccine, a method for producing an influenza vaccine using the vector, an influenza vaccine produced using the vector, and an immunogen obtainable using the Sendai virus vector. It is an object of the present invention to provide proteins for use and immunoassay. SOLUTION: We have succeeded in producing a vaccine against highly toxic influenza by using a recombinant Sendai virus vector into which an influenza virus hemagglutinin (HA) gene has been introduced. Mice vaccinated with the vaccine of the present invention nasally showed significant resistance to virulent influenza virus. In addition, the protein produced using the Sendai virus vector has strong immunoreactivity, and it has been found that the protein is suitable for immunogen proteins and immunoassay proteins for vaccine applications. In particular, it proved useful as an antigen such as ELISA for serodiagnostic drugs for HIV infection. [Selection figure] None |
