titleOfInvention | Method for producing polyuronic acid salt |
abstract | Provided is an industrially advantageous production method capable of efficiently recovering and reusing a nitroxyl radical compound in the production of a polyuronic acid salt by oxidation of a polysaccharide or a derivative thereof in the presence of a nitroxyl radical compound. To do. Oxidation of a polysaccharide or a derivative thereof in the presence of a nitroxyl radical compound and an oxidizing agent in a two-phase system consisting of an aqueous phase and an organic solvent phase and a pH of the aqueous phase of 4.0 to 9.0. Step 1 to obtain a polyuronic acid salt; adding a base to the resulting two-phase system containing the polyuronic acid salt to adjust the pH of the aqueous phase to more than 9.0 and not more than 12.0; Step 2 for extraction into an organic solvent phase; a method for producing a polyuronic acid salt having a step 3 for recovering an aqueous phase containing a polyuronic acid salt and an organic solvent phase containing a nitroxyl radical compound, respectively.
