titleOfInvention Barbed suture combined with a surgical needle
abstract A barbed suture for connecting tissue and a needle with a combination of a surgical needle and a barbed suture are provided. A suture thread 1 includes an elongated body part and a plurality of barbs 7 and 9 protruding from the body part. With each barb, the suture resists movement in the opposite direction that the barb is facing. The arrangement of the barbs 7 and 9 on the body part may be a staggered arrangement, a twist cutting multiple spiral arrangement, an overlapping arrangement, or a random arrangement. Furthermore, the configuration of the barbs 7 and 9 is a spiral angle α, barb cutting angle θ, barb cutting depth, barb cutting length, barb cutting distance, corrugated barb bottom surface, arcuate barb base, or variable barb size. Sometimes. [Selection] Figure 1A
