abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide an AGP quantification method capable of detecting α1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) having a sugar chain correlated with the progress of liver fibrosis in a shorter time than a lectin microarray method. The present invention relates to a method for quantifying α1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) contained in a blood sample collected from a hepatitis patient, and detects a change in the sugar chain of AGP accompanying a change in the fibrosis stage of the liver. AGP having a sugar chain that reacts with a predetermined lectin by forming a complex of magnetic particles-predetermined lectin-AGP-labeled anti-AGP antibody using a possible predetermined lectin and measuring the labeling amount of the complex AGP quantification method characterized by quantifying the amount of AGP, and an AGP quantification reagent used therein.
