abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a storage medium, a reproducing method, and a recording method that have a sufficient number of times of reproduction durability. A mixture of a plurality of organic metal complex cation anions and organic metal complex cation anions has excellent reproduction light durability. With an “L → H” type optical disk using a mixed dye, a reproduction durability of 1 million times or more can be achieved at a reproduction laser power of 0.4 mW. In particular, a mixed dye composed of two kinds of organometallic complex cation anions and a simple organometallic complex achieves reproduction light durability of 1.5 million times or more.
