The calcium pyrophosphate powder of the present invention has a cumulative particle size measured by a laser diffraction particle size distribution measuring device, a particle size (μm) when accumulated from the fine side of 10%, D10, from the fine side. When the particle diameter (μm) when accumulated 50% is expressed as D50 and the particle diameter (μm) when accumulated 90% from the fine side is expressed as D90, the ratio of D90 and D10 (D90 / D10) is 6 or less.
