abstract | [PROBLEMS] By suppressing oxidation of Rh with excellent NOx purification ability, it is possible to improve activity in a stoichiometric atmosphere such as that used in a three-way catalyst for a gasoline engine, improve low-temperature purification, and reduce the amount used. It is an object to provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst and a method for producing the same. An exhaust gas purifying catalyst comprising a support made of a metal oxide and a plurality of composite fine particles containing Au and Rh supported on the support, wherein the central part of the composite fine particles has Au as a maximum component. A catalyst for exhaust gas purification, wherein the outer peripheral portion of the composite fine particles has a composition having Rh as the maximum component. [Selection] Figure 1 |
