titleOfInvention | Head cleaning device and inkjet recording device |
abstract | A head cleaning device and an ink jet recording apparatus having a compact structure and high cleaning effect are provided. A vibrating body is arranged such that a liquid holding surface formed on the upper surface faces a nozzle surface. Ink is preliminarily ejected from a nozzle in a region facing the liquid holding surface 102A, and the ink is held in a film shape between the liquid holding surface 102A and the nozzle surface 52. The ultrasonic vibrator 104 attached to the vibrating body 100 is driven to apply ultrasonic waves to the ink held between the liquid holding surface 102A and the nozzle surface 52. Thereby, the nozzle surface 52 is ultrasonically cleaned. During cleaning, the pressure in the nozzle is positive. [Selection] Figure 7 |
