abstract |
A (meth) acrylic acid alicyclic ester that can be produced industrially and a method for producing the same are provided. An alicyclic unsaturated compound obtained from a Diels-Alder reaction between cyclopentadiene and an olefin, which is a (meth) acrylic acid alicyclic ester made from an alicyclic unsaturated compound or an alcohol derivative thereof. Alternatively, it can be obtained by reacting the alcohol derivative with (meth) acrylic acid, (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester, (meth) acrylic acid halide or (meth) acrylic anhydride.
