A chemical manufacturing apparatus, wherein the separation membrane module is a cartridge-type separation membrane module including a cylindrical case, a separation membrane cartridge, and a sealing member, and the separation membrane cartridge is in a state where the separation membrane cartridge is not bonded and fixed to the cylindrical case. The sealing member is disposed in the separation case module so as to hermetically and liquid-tightly seal between the space through which the fermentation broth passes and the space through which the filtrate passes.
