PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PGE 1 preparation exhibiting an increase in stability compared to unformulated misoprostol, particularly a solid state misoprostol preparation having increased storage stability at room temperature. A pharmaceutical delivery device such as a suppository or pessary consisting of a synthetic prostaglandin PGE 1 analog (eg, misoprostol) in a solid polyurethane hydrogel.
