abstract |
There is a demand for a method for producing olefin oxide capable of further improving the activity of producing olefin oxide per weight of titanosilicate, and a method for producing titanosilicate that can be used in the production method. At least one compound selected from the group consisting of a cyclic amine and a quaternary ammonium salt, a compound containing a group 13 element, a silicon-containing compound, a titanium-containing compound, a fluorine-containing compound and water are mixed and suspended. A first step of obtaining a turbid liquid and separating the solid component from the suspension, and a solid component obtained in the first step, an acid aqueous solution and a titanium-containing compound are mixed to obtain a solid-liquid mixture. A second step of separating a solid from the liquid mixture, and a method for producing a titanosilicate characterized by reacting an olefin and an oxidizing agent in the presence of the titanosilicate obtained by the production method.
