abstract |
A novel hop leaf extract and a method for producing the same are provided. The hop leaf extract of the present invention is extracted from hop (Humulus lupulus) leaves with water or alcohol. For example, hop leaves are added with water or alcohol as a solvent to hop leaves. After the components are extracted into the solvent (step S101), the hop leaves are separated and removed (step S102). This hop leaf extract has an anticancer action against human-derived leukemia cell line U937, an inhibitory action against angiotensin converting enzyme, or an antioxidant ability.
