Provided is a technique for detecting bcr-abl gene mRNA easily and with high sensitivity. An agarose gel carrier (agarose gel beads) in which a sample solution containing bcr-abl gene mRNA is passed and a capture strand having a specific base sequence complementary to bcr-abl gene mRNA is immobilized.
