PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery excellent in reliability and capable of suppressing deterioration in characteristics at high temperature storage. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, characterized by having an aluminum silicate or a derivative thereof at a location where the battery can come into contact with the non-aqueous electrolyte. The said subject is solved with a nonaqueous electrolyte battery. In the non-aqueous electrolyte battery, it is preferable that at least one of the separator, the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the non-aqueous electrolyte contains aluminum silicate or a derivative thereof.
