titleOfInvention | Resin particle dispersion |
abstract | Disclosed is a resin particle dispersion in which resin particles have a uniform particle size and shape and are excellent in low-temperature fixability as a liquid developer for electrophotography. A mixed solution (L2) comprising a solvent solution (L1) of a resin (b) and a dispersion (L2) in which a filler (f) is dispersed in a solvent (S) in the presence of a dispersant (I). L) and the fine particle dispersion (P) in which the fine particles (A) or the fine particles (A) containing the resin (a) are dispersed in the non-hydrophilic medium (N) are mixed in the non-hydrophilic medium (N). A non-aqueous resin dispersion of resin particles (C1) in which fine particles (A) adhere to the surface of resin particles (B) containing resin (b), filler (f) and solvent (S) by mixing. X1) is formed, and further, a step of removing the solvent (S) from the non-aqueous resin dispersion (X1) and a step of coating the fine particles (A) of the resin particles (C1) into resin particles (C) are obtained. Resin particle dispersion (X) obtained, wherein the dispersant (I) has an aliphatic cyclic hydrocarbon group having 5 to 30 carbon atoms (Alpha) is a resin particle dispersion liquid is a block copolymer (BP) or graft copolymer having a main chain monomer with (alpha) as a constituent unit (GP) having a constitutional unit.
