A herbicidal composition containing one or more amino acid herbicidal active ingredients selected from glyphosate, bialaphos, glufosinate and salts thereof and flupoxam. A herbicidal method comprising separately treating the amino acid-based herbicidal active ingredient and flupoxam simultaneously or in proximity.
