abstract A power supply device control device and a power supply device control method capable of accurately detecting the operation of a CID of a power supply device including a plurality of battery packs including a CID are provided. Battery packs BP1 and BP2 each have first and second CIDs configured to operate when an abnormality occurs in the battery pack and to cut off the energization path of the battery pack. ECU 300 receives current values IB1 and IB2 from the current detection unit, calculates track lengths IBINT1 and IBINT2 indicating the lengths of the tracks on which current values IB1 and IB2 have changed on the current axis, and is based on track lengths IBINT1 and IBINT2.
