abstract | A method for producing a polypropylene resin retardation film having high axial accuracy and a uniform retardation value is provided. A method for producing a retardation film comprising sequentially performing longitudinal stretching and transverse stretching in this order on a film composed of a polypropylene resin, wherein the transverse stretching is performed using the polypropylene resin. A preheating step of retaining the film at an atmospheric temperature higher than the melting point for 2.5 minutes or more, and the preheated film is taken for 3 minutes to 4 minutes at an atmospheric temperature lower than the melting point of the polypropylene resin. There is provided a method for producing a retardation film having a stretching step of stretching in a direction. The stretching step in the transverse stretching is preferably performed at a stretching ratio of 3.4 times or more. The preheating step is performed when passing through the preheating zone 31, and the stretching step is performed when passing through the stretching zone 32. [Selection] Figure 2 |
