abstract | The present invention provides a modified resin foamed particle obtained by using an inorganic gas as a foaming agent, and a method for producing the same. Modified foamed resin particles and a method for producing the same. In the production method, first, core particles containing an olefin resin to which a foaming aid is added are impregnated with a styrene monomer and polymerized to obtain modified resin particles. Next, in a sealed container, the modified resin particles and the foaming agent are dispersed in a dispersion medium, the modified resin particles are impregnated with the foaming agent, and then the temperature is equal to or higher than the softening temperature of the modified resin particles. Then, the contents in the sealed container are released under a low pressure to obtain modified resin expanded particles. As the foaming agent, an inorganic gas or the inorganic gas and a volatile plasticizer are used. [Selection] Figure 1 |
