titleOfInvention | Indwelling needle assembly |
abstract | There is provided an indwelling needle assembly having an improved structure capable of preventing blood leakage through an outer needle even after a long period of time from manufacture. An outer needle hub includes a restraining ring 118 that is movable relative to an elastic valve body 80 and is positioned on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic valve body 80 to restrict deformation of the elastic valve body 80 toward the outer peripheral side. 16 is engaged with a restraining ring 118 which is located on the distal end side of the elastic valve body 80 and is detached from the outer needle hub 16. Thus, a locking action portion 106 is provided that moves the restraining ring 118 toward the elastic valve body 80 and positions it on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic valve body 80.
