abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting diode, a light emitting diode lamp, and a method for manufacturing the light emitting diode, which are excellent in heat dissipation, have high luminous efficiency, and can emit light with high luminance. A light-emitting diode according to the present invention is a light-emitting diode in which a functional substrate is bonded to a light-emitting unit including a light-emitting layer. The light-emitting diode is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the light-emitting unit and spaced apart from the light-emitting unit.
