titleOfInvention | Wet image forming device |
abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a wet image forming apparatus and a wet image forming method capable of performing efficient cleaning even when a liquid developer in which a resin is dissolved in a carrier liquid is used. A wet image forming apparatus for developing an electrostatic latent image on a surface of a photosensitive drum using a liquid developer, wherein the liquid developer includes at least a pigment, a resin, and two or more kinds of non-volatile carrier liquids. Liquid development in which at least one of the two or more types of carrier liquids is different in solubility of the resin from other carrier liquids, and the resin is dissolved in the carrier liquid. Means for supplying the carrier liquid having the highest solubility of the resin among the two or more kinds of carrier liquids to the residual liquid developer on the developer carrier after development, A wet image forming apparatus, comprising: a collecting unit that collects the residual liquid developer after that; and a unit that supplies the remaining carrier liquid after the collection.
