abstract A reaction vessel capable of shortening the time required for heating and cooling a sample solution and a measuring apparatus using the reaction vessel are provided. A reaction vessel 101 includes a heat transfer body 12 into which a sample container 11 for storing a sample solution is inserted, and a heater 13 for heating the heat transfer body 12, wherein the heater 13 is the heat transfer body. It is provided so as to cover the outer peripheral surface 123 of the body 12, and the sample container 11 is inserted on the upper surface side of the heat transfer body 12, and an accommodating portion 121 that contacts the sample container 11 is formed.
