abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED To realize high battery characteristics by suppressing movement of a battery element inside an exterior material and suppressing breakage of a connecting portion between a lead and the battery element. In a large-capacity nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which a battery element is covered with a laminate film, a porous polymer layer containing vinylidene fluoride as a component is provided between the laminate film and the battery element. The porous polymer layer containing vinylidene fluoride as a component is composed of at least one kind of polyvinylidene fluoride and a copolymer containing vinylidene fluoride as a component, and the thickness of the porous polymer layer is 1.0 μm or more and 5.0 μm.
