Provided is a production method capable of polymerizing a high molecular weight polyurea using carbon dioxide under low pressure. A process for producing polyurea using a diamine compound and carbon dioxide as raw materials, comprising a polymerization step of polymerizing the diamine compound and carbon dioxide under conditions of a pressure of 1 to 10 MPa and a temperature of 160 to 260 ° C. A process for producing urea and a process for producing polyurea in which the pressure is lowered to less than 1 MPa and then increased to 1 to 10 MPa using carbon dioxide during the polymerization process and the polymerization step.
