| abstract | A developing device, an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge capable of reducing stress on a developer. A developer carrying member that carries a developer containing toner and a carrier on its surface and rotates, and a developer carrier that is provided obliquely above the developer carrying member and that is disposed along the axial direction of the developer carrying member. A supply conveyance path having a supply conveyance member that conveys and supplies the developer to the developer carrying body, and a lower side of the supply conveyance path, from above the developer carrying body after passing through a portion facing the latent image carrier. In a developing device including a recovery conveyance path having a recovery conveyance member that conveys the collected developer along the axial direction and in a direction opposite to the supply conveyance member, the developer is provided on the supply conveyance path from the downstream end of the recovery conveyance path.
