abstract 【Task】 Provided are a method and an apparatus for assisting in adjusting a magnetic field with high accuracy in a nuclear magnetic resonance tomography apparatus (MRI) used for medical diagnosis. [Solution] Measure the magnetic field at a predetermined number of points, calculate the error magnetic field that is the difference from the target magnetic field, select the eigen distribution function from the eigen distribution function that is the basis obtained by singular value decomposition of the error magnetic field, The current potential distribution on the surface of the magnetic field adjustment mechanism that can be approximately corrected by the combination of the selected eigendistribution functions is obtained, and the corrected magnetic field amount at the magnetic field measurement point in the region where the target magnetic field distribution is given is calculated from the obtained current potential. Then, the residual error magnetic field from the target magnetic field after the magnetic field adjustment work corresponding to the correction magnetic field amount is obtained, and the magnet of the superconducting magnet device is repaired or adjusted based on the residual error magnetic field and the correction magnetic field amount.
