A solid electrolytic capacitor having improved performance in a high temperature environment is provided. A conductive polymer particle material containing a substituted polythiophene is improved, the degree of polymerization and particle diameter are optimized, a counter ion containing polystyrene sulfonic acid is devised, and a binder is added.
