titleOfInvention Radiation detection panel
abstract In a configuration in which the interval between adjacent columnar crystals of a scintillator changes when a load is applied to a top plate of a housing, it is possible to suppress contact between adjacent columnar crystals. After forming a scintillator 34 having a columnar crystal region on the vapor deposition substrate 20, the vapor deposition substrate 20 is curved so that the scintillator forming surface side of the vapor deposition substrate 20 is convex (see (A)), thereby forming a columnar shape. The average interval between adjacent columnar crystals near the tip of the crystal is set larger than the average interval between adjacent columnar crystals near the base of the columnar crystal. Thereby, a load is applied to the top plate 16 of the electronic cassette 10 at the time of radiographic image capture, and this load is applied to the scintillator 34 and the vapor deposition substrate 20 via the radiation detection unit 42 (see (B)), Even when the average interval between adjacent columnar crystals in the vicinity of the tip portion is reduced, the contact between adjacent columnar crystals is suppressed.
