abstract | An electrolytic solution that provides an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with low impedance and long life is provided. An electrolytic solution for an aluminum electrolytic capacitor according to the present invention includes an aqueous solution containing a basic compound capable of forming a salt of adipic acid as a carboxylic acid electrolyte and a salt of adipic acid in a mixed solvent composed of water and ethylene glycol. An electrolyte solution in which a phosphorus oxo acid ion-forming compound capable of generating a phosphorus oxo acid ion and a chelating agent capable of forming a water-soluble aluminum chelate complex by coordination with aluminum are dissolved. The compound contains only a primary amine and / or a secondary amine having a hydrophobic substituent as a compound, and the pH of the electrolytic solution is in the range of 5.6 to 7.0.
