Iris recognition and tracking for light treatment |
abstract |
Systems and methods for obtaining an iris or eye image during refractive diagnostic analysis are presented. The image is used to align the data from that analysis with data from other refractive analyzers and to align a refractive surgical instrument such as a laser for treatment. In addition, the iris image stored prior to treatment is compared with the patient's iris to ensure that the correct eye is treated using the treatment pattern developed. Various refractive devices can be used such as corneal morphology systems and wavefront aberration systems. [Selection] Figure 2A |
