titleOfInvention | Fuel cell electrode and membrane electrode assembly |
abstract | Provided are a fuel cell electrode and a membrane electrode assembly that can suppress the elution of catalyst particles and sufficiently bring out the function of a catalyst added when the fuel cell is operated at a high current density. An electrode for a fuel cell includes an electrode catalyst having catalyst particles supported on a conductive carrier, a first ionic conductor having anion conductivity and a second cation conductivity covering the electrode catalyst. A fuel cell electrode comprising: an electrode material comprising: an ionic conductor, wherein the first ionic conductor is disposed so as to cover the catalyst particles, and the second ionic conductor is the electrode conductor. It arrange | positions so that the exposed part of a 1st ion conductor and this electroconductive support | carrier may be coat | covered. The membrane electrode assembly is obtained by using the fuel cell electrode as at least one of an anode and a cathode. [Selection] Figure 1 |
