titleOfInvention Water-swellable friction reducing composition
abstract An object of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of rust in a steel material coated with a water-swellable composition without deteriorating the friction reducing properties. SOLUTION: 614 parts of toluene is added to 614 parts of an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer resin elastomer solution, 224 parts of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose while stirring with a dissolver, and an alkyl naphthalene sulfonate / barium carboxylate complex as a rust inhibitor ( Enomoto Kasei NA-SUL BSN-HT) 12 parts and fine-particle silica 10 parts were added and sufficiently stirred to obtain a water-swellable friction reducing composition. This composition was applied to an iron flat bar to a thickness of about 1 mm, put into a container after drying, poured into a mortar, solidified, and after one month, a pulling test was performed, and the composition was easily pulled out. No rust was observed on the flat bar, but rust was observed in the comparative example having the same composition and no rust inhibitor added. [Selection figure] None
