titleOfInvention | Method for producing carbonyl chloride |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing carbonyl chloride with very few impurities and good hue. Furthermore, the present invention provides a polycarbonate resin that has few metal corrosive substances, excellent hue, and excellent molding heat stability. Production of carbonyl chloride using chlorine and carbon monoxide in a molar ratio of 1.000: 1.001 to 1.050, and splitting chlorine and carbon monoxide in two steps, respectively. A method, (I) 30 to 85 mol% of chlorine in 100 mol% of chlorine to be used and 33.0 to 99.9 mol% of carbon monoxide in 100 mol% of carbon monoxide to be used are brought into contact with the first catalyst, Next, (Ii) Chlorination including each step of contacting the obtained product containing carbon monoxide with the remaining 15 to 70 mol% of chlorine and 0.1 to 67 mol% of carbon monoxide to the second catalyst. A method for producing carbonyl. [Selection] Figure 2 |
