abstract A method for manufacturing a tandem dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) using a bonding process is provided. In the above method, a first photovoltaic (PV) cell including a cathode, a first dye layer and an anode is formed. A second PV cell is also formed that includes a cathode, a second dye layer, and an anode. The anode of the second PV cell is bonded to the cathode of the first PV cell by the first transparent conductive adhesive layer at a temperature lower than 100 ° C. Corresponding to this bonding, an internal electrical series connection between the first PV cell and the second PV cell is formed.
