abstract | An epoxy-modified polyvinyl acetal resin capable of obtaining a ceramic green sheet having excellent mechanical strength and solvent resistance without impairing sinterability is provided. Moreover, the ceramic slurry and ceramic green sheet which are manufactured using this epoxy modified polyvinyl acetal resin are provided. A constitutional unit having 17 to 49.4 mol% of a structural unit represented by polyvinyl alcohol, 0.1 to 15 mol% of a structural unit having an acetyl group, and an acetal group represented by the following formula (3) Epoxy-modified polyvinyl acetal having a unit of 48 to 80 mol%, a structural unit having an epoxy group in a proportion of 0.5 to 20 mol%, and an average degree of polymerization of 300 to 2500 resin.
