abstract Provided is a portable radiographic image detection device in which a battery can be easily replaced even after positioning for imaging. Two casings (28, 29) are provided on a casing (26) of an electronic cassette (13). The battery mounting portions 28 and 29 are arranged at diagonal positions on a substantially rectangular plane of the housing 26. The outlets 28b and 29b of the battery mounting portions 28 and 29 are formed on two substantially orthogonal side surfaces, respectively, and a socket 34 is provided at the back of each of the outlets 28b and 29b. Thereby, the battery unit 27 can be attached and detached from the two side surfaces.
