A conductive layer-coated aluminum material having characteristics capable of withstanding long-term use and a method for producing the same are provided. A conductive layer-covered aluminum material includes an aluminum material, a first conductive layer, an intervening layer, and a second conductive layer. The 1st conductive layer 2 is formed on the surface of the aluminum material 1, and contains the organic substance which has electroconductivity. The intervening layer 3 is formed between the aluminum material 1 and the first conductive layer 2 and contains an aluminum carbide. The second conductive layer 4 is formed on the surface of the first conductive layer 2 and includes carbon-containing particles 41. After the resin is attached to the surface of the aluminum material 1 and dried, and the carbon-containing material is attached thereon, the aluminum material 1 is placed in the space containing the hydrocarbon-containing material and heated, thereby the first The conductive layer 2, the intervening layer 3, and the second conductive layer 4 are formed.
