titleOfInvention | catheter |
abstract | The present invention provides a catheter capable of achieving an appropriate balance between the degree of freedom of bending and the degree of reinforcement. A catheter 10 has a reinforcing layer 50 formed on the outer periphery of a lumen 21, and the reinforcing layer 50 is composed of a plurality of types of cross-sectioned wires 51 and 52 wound in multiple strips. For this reason, for example, a spiral convex portion corresponding to the large-diameter wire 52 is formed on the outer layer 64 positioned on the outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing layer 50, so that the entire catheter 10 is rotated to advance and retract. The driving force can be generated. Further, since the plurality of types of wires 51 and 52 are positioned inside the outer layer 64, the small-diameter wire 51 is easily displaced and is easily bent. [Selection] Figure 1 |
