abstract | To provide a production method and an apparatus for efficiently and continuously obtaining chloropropane by a chlorine addition reaction in which chloropropene is reacted with chlorine (Cl 2 ). Represented by A formula (1) CCl 2 = CCl ( 2-m) H (m-1) -CCl (3-n) H n (m is 1 or 2, n is an integer of from 0 to 3) While the chloropropene is being fed into the reaction system, a part of the reaction mixture is continuously withdrawn, and after the chlorine has been dissolved, the extract is re-added to the reaction system and circulated. And a reaction mixture of an amount corresponding to the amount of the reaction product mixture generated from chlorine is continuously and separately extracted from the extracted solution, and the following formula (2) CCl 3 -CCl (3-m) H (m-1) The chloropropane represented by —CCl (3-n) H n (m is 1 or 2, and n is the same as the value in formula (1)) is recovered.
